JEFF HUGHES | BKIN, FSS, CPT

Founder/Co-Owner

Jeff has over 16 years of experience in the world of strength and conditioning.

From strength training clients to completing his certifications and practicing myofascial stretch therapy at the highest level, Jeff has made his life about helping his clients move and function better. He has also spent 5+ years coaching various sports at different levels.

With a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Acadia University, much of Jeff’s education has been centered around exercise science, physiology, mobility and proper functional movement in strength training. During his time there, he devoted his efforts to working with a majority of the varsity athletics teams as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach. During his tenure in this position, Jeff was fortunate enough to spend several hundred hours training clients and athletes, while learning from leading professionals in the field.
Jeff looks to identify the lynchpin of dysfunction in the body to unlock the opportunity for clients to train pain-free so they can get stronger and move better.

Jeff is also a specialist in a modality called Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST). FST is a pain-free, unique and complementary system of table-based assisted stretching, focusing on the fascia and joint capsule as the key elements in achieving optimal flexibility, strength, performance, and pain relief.

Some of his current clientele includes Team Canada athletes in hockey, speed skating, ski-cross, bobsled, and rugby. Additionally, Jeff has worked with professional athletes from the NHL, UFC, CFL, NFL and PGA.
Jeff’s main focus is to continually learn, evolve and adapt to ensure his standards remain at the top of the industry, and he works to ensure these standards are reflected in his programming.
