Meet Dr. Brittney Jewan
Chiropractor
Special interests: Works with active adults, athletes of all levels, and kids looking to recover from injury, manage pain, build confidence in movement, return to sport, and keep doing what they love.

Dr. Brittney Jewan is a sports-focused chiropractor who helps athletes and active individuals recover from injury, improve movement and return to the activities that they love. Growing up, Brittney was involved in variety of sports including volleyball, field hockey and track and field. However, her true passion was always found in gymnastics, as Brittney spent 15 years competing in trampoline and tumbling at the national level. She continues to pursue that passion as both a trampoline and tumbling coach, as well as working with many gymnasts as a chiropractor. Her experience as both an athlete and coach give her a practical understanding of the physical demands of sport, the frustration of injury and the importance of building confidence throughout rehabilitation. Brittney earned her Bachelor of Kinesiology with Distinction from the University of Calgary before completing her Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at the University of Western States, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Her clinical approach combines a detailed, whole-person assessment with hands-on treatment including soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, dry needling and acupuncture, and progressive rehabilitation. Rather than relying on one technique or simply chasing symptoms, Brittney works with each patient to understand the factors that may be contributing to their concern and develop a realistic plan based on their goals. She has a particular interest in sports injuries, youth athletes, ankle and knee injuries, low back pain, tendinopathy, concussions, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. Brittney has also supported athletes and teams in coaching and healthcare roles, including working as Team Alberta Coach at Western Canada Cup, and an Integrated Support Team chiropractor for Team Alberta at the Canadian Gymnastics Championships. Outside of the clinic, you'll find Brittney practicing her 360 wakesurfing at Christina Lake, hiking the scenic trails of the Rocky Mountains, or lifting weights in the gym.
