Jeff Hughes

With over 18 years of experience in strength and conditioning, Jeff Hughes has built his career around helping people move better, get stronger, and perform at their highest level. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Acadia University, where he also served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach working with varsity athletes. His experience spans strength and conditioning, athletic development, mobility, injury prevention, and Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), allowing him to take a comprehensive approach to movement and performance. As a Level 2 TPI Golf Fitness Certified professional, Jeff has a particular passion for golf and human performance. He specializes in identifying physical limitations that may be affecting the golf swing, then developing the mobility, stability, strength, and power needed to perform more efficiently on the course. Rather than coaching the swing itself, Jeff focuses on building a body that is better prepared to swing—helping golfers generate more power, move more freely, reduce injury risk, and continue playing at a high level as they age. Throughout his career, Jeff has worked with recreational athletes, weekend warriors, and elite competitors, including members of the 2018 Grey Cup Champion Calgary Stampeders, Team Canada athletes, and professional athletes from the NHL, UFC, NFL, and PGA. His approach centres around identifying the lynchpin that may be limiting movement or performance and creating a plan to address it through strength training, mobility, and FST. Whether working with a golfer, competitive athlete, or someone who simply wants to stay strong and active, Jeff’s goal is simple: move well, perform better, and build strength that lasts.
