Special interests:

Ryan Wright is a Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT(C)) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) who specializes in long-term rehabilitation and performance-focused care for athletes and active individuals. Ryan has experience working across professional sport, university athletics, private clinical settings, and high-performance environments. His clinical approach focuses on helping people recover from complex or persistent injuries, rebuild strength and physical capacity, and confidently return to the activities and sports they enjoy. He has a particular interest in complex rehabilitation, return-to-sport and return-to-performance, strength and conditioning, and the management of challenging or recurrent injuries. Rather than focusing only on short-term symptom relief, Ryan works with clients to understand the factors contributing to their injury and develop a progressive, individualized plan that addresses mobility, strength, capacity, movement quality, and sport- or activity-specific demands. Ryan works with both competitive athletes and non-athletes, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgery, persistent musculoskeletal injuries, long term back pain, and other conditions that require a more comprehensive rehabilitation approach. For athletes, rehabilitation can progress from early-stage recovery through running, sprinting, change of direction, sport-specific training, and ultimately a safe return to competition. His background in professional sport and strength and conditioning allows him to bridge the gap between traditional rehabilitation and the physical demands of high-level sport. Whether the goal is returning to competitive athletics, getting back to an active lifestyle, or simply becoming stronger and more resilient, Ryan takes a collaborative and evidence-informed approach to help each client achieve their goals. While Ryan's in-person client waiting list can be long at times, he usually has the capacity to take on clients in an online capacity first, and then transition them to in person when space becomes available. You are also able to bill all services through Athletic Therapy benefits. Send an inquiry for more information!
